Inclusive work environment

More than 80% of our employees live with various functional limitations including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), psychosocial disabilities (mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia and depression), and physical disabilities (cerebral palsy, speech disorders, dysphasia, dyspraxia, visual impairment, hearing loss and neurological conditions).

A Pride factory

Groupe TAQ is much more than a factory, it is a Pride factory where each individual’s abilities are recognized and developed. Personalized supervision, weekly training, workplace and process adaptations, and our collective cafeteria are just a few examples of the concrete social impact we deliver.

From interns to employees

We proudly serve as an internship environment for students aged 16 to 21 with disabilities who are enrolled in work-preparation programs. Through partnerships with school service centres, interns acquire technical skills for semi-skilled trades while developing social and professional adaptability at TAQ.

Business model

Groupe TAQ is recognized for the excellence of its manual and semi-automated contract manufacturing services for assembly, packaging and food co-packing solutions. Thanks to our hundred business partners, we fulfill our mission every day: to provide people living with functional limitations with a rewarding living environment.

In parallel, Groupe TAQ designs, manufactures, and assembles Faber snowshoes, produced exclusively for retailers such as Costco Canada and Decathlon Canada, and sells models under its private label to around one hundred specialty shops.

As an adapted enterprise, we benefit from valuable financial support from Services Québec, enabling all employees to reach their full potential in a supported and productive work environment, regardless of their abilities.

We also rely on a leading partnership with the City of Québec, signed in Spring 2024. In addition, Groupe TAQ is proud to have the precious support of philanthropic partners.
