We are very proud to announce a new milestone: a $200,000 investment from Co-operators Community Funds (CCF) in our community bond campaign.

Co-operators Community Funds and Groupe TAQ: a confirmed investment of $200,000
This commitment supports our mission to create quality jobs for people living with functional limitations, while demonstrating the power of social impact investing.
For a more inclusive society
Serving as the philanthropic arm of Co-operators, CCF’s support is not only financial: it is meaningful. It illustrates how it is possible to mobilize capital around projects that are transformative and promote social change.
As Sean Geobey, Chairperson, Co-operators Community Funds notes: “CCF isn’t just about granting – it is committed to using its investment portfolio to achieve meaningful social and environmental change. Close to 65% of CCF’s invested assets are placed in impact, transition and smaller-scale community impact investments that are generating benefits well beyond what could be achieved through grant-making alone. CCF is proud to support Groupe TAQ’s community bond campaign and further its mission of providing meaningful, stable job opportunities for individuals living with disabilities.”
CCF’s commitment builds on the recent announcement of Addenda Capital (Co-operators asset management company) that also completed a $500,000 investment in Groupe TAQ’s community bond campaign.
At Groupe TAQ, we believe that inclusion requires concrete action, and this support will enable us to go even further in our mission of socio-professional integration and the sustainability of our wonderfully adapted enterprise.
The power of community bonds
Our community bond campaign is an invitation to actively participate in a more equitable Canadian economy. Thanks to this innovative tool, investors can generate a return while contributing to a project that has a real human and social impact.
CCF’s commitment reinforces the credibility and scope of our initiative, and we hope it will inspire other organizations, foundations, and investors to join the movement.
