Sustainable Development Goal 10

Reduced Inequalities

By promoting an inclusive work environment for individuals often marginalized in the labor market, TAQ actively contributes to equal opportunity, social participation and community cohesion.

Each job created becomes a lever to reduce isolation, strengthen autonomy and build a more just and inclusive society.

TAQ is also proud to offer an adapted and caring work environment, along with personalized daily support aligned with each worker’s individual reality.

In partnership with the Centre Louis-Jolliet, Groupe TAQ provides ongoing training to its workforce. Each year, hundreds of training hours are delivered, both to support professional task performance (e.g., health and safety) and to meet everyday needs such as personal finance education or responsible social media use.

TAQ also offers a collective cafeteria with affordable meals, a very active social club, accessible sports activities and challenges, as well as a quiet room designed to support our neurodiverse colleagues.

Sustainable Development Goal 8

Decent Work and Economic Growth

TAQ promotes active participation in the labor market for all, reduces employment barriers and stimulates a more equitable local economy.

Sustainable Development Goal 11

Sustainable Cities and Communities

TAQ’s mission contributes to making Québec City more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Through its actions, TAQ strengthens the social fabric of the greater Capitale-Nationale region and actively contributes to building a fairer and more supportive community.
