Thanks to Groupe TAQ\u2019s leadership, this initiative is now recognized as the largest community bond campaign ever conducted in Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Campaign of Boldness and Impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Groupe TAQ enables people of all ages with disabilities to access meaningful employment in a safe and supportive work environment that respects their needs. The campaign pursued three main goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To create a fund for project acquisition and development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To rebalance short- and long-term debt;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To build an engaged community of supporters from the general public, the business sector, and institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis campaign reflects our investors\u2019 shared desire to make a tangible impact and change people\u2019s lives. We are deeply grateful for their trust and support. Thanks to them, the Groupe TAQ community is now larger and stronger than ever. This will allow us to play an even more significant role in the inclusion of people with disabilities and to pursue our mission with an expanded reach,\u201d said Gabriel Tremblay, CEO of Groupe TAQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Timeline Marked by Milestones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 10, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Official launch of the community bond campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April 2, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Addenda Capital invests $500,000, becoming the first private investment management firm in Quebec to participate in a community bond initiative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>June 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Fondation Desjardins, Co-operators Community Funds, and Ciels Bleus Investment Management join the campaign, giving it fresh momentum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>June to October 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The non-profit Propel Impact, along with renowned entrepreneurs and business families across Quebec, rally to the campaign. Allies, TAQ employees, and their families also invest!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>October 2, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Lucie and Andr\u00e9 Chagnon Foundation makes a major $3 million investment, providing decisive momentum for the campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>October 31, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Fonds l\u2019ampli contributes $100,000, and Addenda Capital adds another $100,000, enabling Groupe TAQ to proudly reach its goal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These combined efforts allowed Groupe TAQ to close the campaign with $5,011,200 raised and 65 investors united by a shared vision: to build a more inclusive and caring Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Strategic Partners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fonds l\u2019ampli and the R\u00e9seau d\u2019investissement social du Qu\u00e9bec (RISQ), both part of the Chantier de l\u2019\u00e9conomie sociale, played key roles. Their expertise, guidance, and financial support provided a strong foundation for this historic campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCommunity bonds and preferred shares allow citizens, businesses, and institutional investors to contribute to transforming our economy. By investing in collective enterprises, these investors ensure positive social returns and support the creation and strengthening of organizations that reinvest their profits in the community.
