We are very proud to announce a new milestone: a $200,000 investment from Co-operators Community Funds (CCF)<\/a> in our community bond campaign.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This commitment supports our mission to create quality jobs for people living with functional limitations, while demonstrating the power of social impact investing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a more inclusive society<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Serving as the philanthropic arm of Co-operators, CCF\u2019s support is not only financial: it is meaningful. It illustrates how it is possible to mobilize capital around projects that are transformative and promote social change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Sean Geobey, Chairperson, Co-operators Community Funds notes: \u201cCCF isn\u2019t just about granting \u2013 it is committed to using its investment portfolio to achieve meaningful social and environmental change. Close to 65% of CCF\u2019s invested assets are placed in impact, transition and smaller-scale community impact investments that are generating benefits well beyond what could be achieved through grant-making alone. CCF is proud to support Groupe TAQ\u2019s community bond campaign and further its mission of providing meaningful, stable job opportunities for individuals living with disabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CCF\u2019s commitment builds on the recent announcement of Addenda Capital (Co-operators asset management company) that also completed a $500,000 investment in Groupe TAQ\u2019s community bond campaign<\/a>.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
