Groupe TAQ changes the lives of people living with disabilities
Since its creation in 1979, Groupe TAQ has been a major social economy enterprise that has transformed the lives of over a thousand people living with physical, intellectual and psychological functional limitations.
How? By offering them a dignified and rewarding job, and a living environment fully adapted to their needs, so that they can flourish and be full-fledged members of society.
More than an investment, one with heart and impact
Investing in Groupe TAQ means:
- Make a concrete and lasting contribution to the integration and independence of people living with disabilities.
- Invest in a major SME that is essential to the Canadian economy, and one of the strong links in Quebec’s collective and social economy.
Why having launched a $5 million community bonds campaign?
The campaign has run from March 10 to October 31, 2025, and mobilized foundations, companies, business people and the general public (65 investors overall) to:
- Create a development and acquisition fund that will support the creation of new jobs at Groupe TAQ over the next 3 years.
- Consolidate our assets, such as the purchase of specialized equipment to remain competitive and the rebalancing of our short- and long-term debts.
The Groupe TAQ campaign is ended. Our $5M goal is reached!
